Minamo Madoka Practices Splatoon 3 for Over Three Hours With Elu and Kisara
The Nijisanji streamer opened with solo battles, then played private matches alongside Elu the Elf and Kisara, with viewers rotating in to fill the team.
NIJISANJI — Nijisanji streamer Minamo Madoka put in more than three hours of Splatoon 3 practice on Thursday for the #にじイカ祭り2026 event. For most of the stream she played alongside fellow Nijisanji talents Elu the Elf and Kisara, who streamed the same sessions from their own channels.
Madoka started alone, jumping into battles to refresh what she had worked on the day before. She said some of the controls had slipped away overnight, and she settled into her usual role as what she calls a “drink fighter,” setting out drinks for her teammates. At one point she worked out how to perform the squid roll, a quick dodge, after seeing a clip of it online, and tried the diagonal-movement input herself. After one match she said she was having a great time.
“This is so much fun. Splatoon really is good.” — Minamo Madoka, after an early solo match
She joined Elu’s stream about half an hour in, and Kisara arrived soon after, bringing together the three talents named in the #水とーよWIN tag on Elu’s and Kisara’s stream titles. They set up a private room and rotated viewers in to fill the remaining slots, with the opposing side also made up of viewers. The three traded tips as they went, among them throwing bombs at spots enemies climb through and keeping an eye on the map for flanking opponents.
The opposition was often tougher than expected. After one lopsided loss the group agreed the other side was simply stronger, but there were wins too: a comeback that chat called a big reversal, and a match in which the team held on through the final 30 seconds. A close contest in the second hour came down to the last moments. Between rounds they posted calls for other Nijisanji teams to scrimmage, but the slots and ranks never lined up, so the viewer matches carried on. Chat messages such as “her growth is amazing” ran through the night.
As concentration waned, the group agreed to wrap up around 11 p.m. and rest, and the last rounds followed. Elu said she would stream for about two hours at noon the next day and join a murder-mystery game session from 6 p.m. Kisara said they would practice again the next day, which she called the last practice, and that she planned to post short videos. Madoka stayed on after the others signed off and said her movement had improved but that she no longer knew what she should be doing with it, adding that she had somehow forgotten how to place her drinks. She then read out viewers’ messages, tried a charger-type weapon in a Turf War match, and landed a kill. She said she would probably stream again the next day and would announce the details then.
