Vantacrow Bringer Sells Entire Delivery Stock in One $35,000 Order on District V
He then paid about $5,000 to upgrade his delivery scooter and crashed it on the way to a street race.
NIJISANJI — Vantacrow Bringer sold every item he was carrying, food and drinks alike, to the owner of a mechanic shop in a single order invoiced at $35,000 during a stream of just over four hours on District V, a Grand Theft Auto roleplay server. The buyer, who said he was feeding his staff, took a 50 percent bulk discount and then rounded the invoice up to $35,000. Vantacrow Bringer put his own commission at about $10,000. The buyer also handed him a backpack to carry more stock.
Vantacrow Bringer plays a delivery driver for a burger shop called Señor Buns, and the night was mostly a run of phone calls from other players. A hospital worker ordered 10 food items and 10 drinks and paid $4,000 after an emergency-services discount. A police officer who ordered 10 hot dogs and 10 colas insisted on paying a flat $7,000 for a bill that would have been $3,250 at the discounted rate. Vantacrow Bringer later explained that his commission rises with what customers spend, so a discount they turn down works in his favor.
“I’m just the NPC. I’m the minimum wage worker that is surrounded by all these titans.” — Vantacrow Bringer, describing his character
The mechanic shop also upgraded his delivery scooter, which he said cost about $5,000 and made it much faster. He crashed it into road signs several times and paid $1,000 for a checkup at the hospital. On his way to a street race at Soul Sushi, a newly opened sushi restaurant, he flew off the bike again after hitting something on the road. The race drew a crowd, and cars struck several people in the parking lot. Vantacrow Bringer asked the restaurant’s staff about driving deliveries for them as well and swapped phone numbers.
Later he found Cherry, an in-game dating app, and wrote a profile that read, “Swipe right if you want a delivery.” Matches wrote back, and one offered $10,000 for five burgers and five drinks, to be delivered to a priest. Chat joked that he was walking into a wedding. He turned the offer down, saying he had an important order and could not get married, and took a bulk order of 40 burgers and 40 milkshakes from a judge instead.
Vantacrow Bringer ended the stream saying four hours was enough for the night. He said he enjoyed playing a character with no conflicts to roleplay, and that the server had felt less overwhelming than on its first day. He said he would stream Arknights at 5 p.m. Pacific time the next day and then return to District V, before staying away for about three days. Five Super Chats came in near the end, and he thanked each sender on stream.
